    2. Kazuyuki Toda 235 votes 24%
    3. Goran Bunjevcevic 204 votes 21%
    4. Gustavo Poyet 108 votes 11%
    5. Gary Doherty 89 votes 9%
    6. Darren Anderton 71 votes 7%

    Acimovic steals it.

Why is he still on the payroll??? Definitely one to be shipped out in January. Loan him, sell him, shoot him, whatever. Just glad we didn't pay any transfer money for him.

Oh btw there's also a link to the highlight of the year so far, I went for Kanoute's beautiful goal against Everton.

This is a little unfair. i think all these guys have done their best, but some of them just aren't up to the job. Dazza has been a great servant to the club, and Poyet is 36 years old for crying out loud.
Doherty plays upfront for Eire, Bunje is played out of position, ditto Acimovic (he's a STRIKER! although you wouldn't know it. His miss against Fulham last year is considered one of the worst ever).

As for Toda......poor bugger. He truly is useless. I'd have liked to have seen Inamoto when he was at Arse. I bet he was crap too, but he's had a good few years to bed in, and now he's alright.

Kazu Toda simply isn't close to the required skill level. It's really an insult to the other players that Toda didn't win this one with over 75% of the votes, but then again, if you don't get to actually see the players, it's hard to realize their relative merits.

Best of luck to Toda, he hasn't whined a bit. I know if I were given the chance he was given I would have taken it too, and fared far worse. But in the end, he just isn't there.

Acimovic was good, skillful, but lightweight and another player low on confidence.

Toda.. oh dear, what happened?! He seemed ok for a bit, then got injured and hasn't been seen since!!
