What we know so far: - The team opens on the road on Sunday, April 14, against Chicago, Boston, or Seattle. (This would be the home opener for the host team.) - Home opener is the following weekend. - Play local rival Sky Blue three times: April 27 (home), July 6 (away), August 3 (away). Both away games are on a Saturday evening, so a road trip is feasible (WPS consistently scheduled these games on weeknights). Full schedule out 4 pm today.
There should also be a double-header on the 11th with the Reserve side hosting the NY Magic in the W-League opener.

I have one complaint about the schedule. Two games (6/15 and 7/27) are scheduled for the same time as DC United home games.

Spirit down NCAA champion North Carolina, 2-0 Definitely an improvement over last week, and on a beautiful day with great attendance.
The team also tweeted about their disgust with bus charter company U.S. Coachways after the charter firm dispatched an extremely old and beat up bus far below the standard the team had been promised. Unfortunately the company then also failed to deliver on a promised replacement, so the ‘First Ladies’ will have to trek home in the mold-infested jalopy at their own risk, while team management confirmed a different company had already been secured for the remainder of the season.
