Neither. It's just thanking Wenger for all the good work he has done but at the same time, saying he should leave because time is up. I think fans like DT feel disrespected by the lack of ambition, failures and the mistakes. These fans pay a lot for match-day tickets and they are more than entitled to protest in this way. If the banner included swear words or anything like that then yes, it would be offensive but it didn't. It's just a banner expressing frustration. It's no different than the 'In Wenger we trust' banners.

My only problem was it is maybe the timing of it. The Media have made it a big deal already and that has brought back negativity to the club. And even though I do believe Wenger should go, I think there are bigger problems at the club like Kroenke. There should be banners & protests directed at that clown.

I agree, Wenger is just part of the problem.

I think the banner is pretty obnoxious even though I want Wenger to leave. That said, I respect the hell out of displaying it after a 4-0 win.

I just want to win the title in my tenure of being a Gooner. The Invincibles and those gorgeous O2 shirts brought me here, hopefully we have an outside chance at (perhaps) a Cup/League double, remember the operative word is "outside", we know that we have a big hill to climb but let's take this thing one match at a time, we're not mathematically eliminated from title contention, but unlike my having to wait 37 YEARS (since I was 9 years old in 1975) for my beloved L.A. Kings to win their first Stanley Cup (2012), I do not want to have to wait that long for Arsenal to get their first title since The Invincibles last did it in 2004. So COYF'n'G!!!

Oh, and, another thing, I don't believe we should put all this on Arsene Wenger, if anything, they should be making banners directed at our cheap bastard of an owner, Stan Kroenke!!! HE'S THE ONE who's not allowing Arsene Wenger to spend the $$$ and go out and get the biggest and best 'Guns' out there on the transfer market, so that maybe we can not only be shoe-ins for Champions League every single season, but perhaps, title contenders for the first time in YEARS!!!

If Stan Kroenke is willing to spend the dough on the L.A. Rams to bring them back to their old "Greatest Show On Turf" days when they were the absolute best to watch and on building a brand new stadium for them in a few years (where Hollywood Park used to be at right across from my old-stomping grounds at The Forum in Inglewood going to Kings games all those years), how about putting some of that money on US FOR A CHANGE!!! #KroenkeOut #WengersNotTheProblem

Wenger is a bigger problem than Kroenke, unless Kroenke selects the teams, puts into practice the formations, and picks what players he puts on the list. He paid up big for Sanchez and Ozil, and brought in Cech, so getting great players isn't the issue.
But Wenger could have a list made up of players from Barca, Bayern and Juve and would still bottle the league and cup.

Did the banner not come out today? Seems like it would've been the most appropriate moment.

Can't imagine the players appreciate the banners, probably demoralizes them, in fact.

I thought United and Liverpool had cornered the market on whiny, demanding, spoiled fans. What an embarrassment.
