yeah I heard about this yesterday on a talk show with some dude named Jorge Ramos

He said that Pfister would make his decision after the Africa cup.

    Is this good or bad??

I'd say that under normal circumstances it would be pretty enticing to get this guy. But Bob has been at the helm and has by all accounts been doing fine. He deserves to see the team through WC qualifying at least. I just think it's weird that the U.S. FA would be reaching out to this guy. Maybe he's bluffing to get a better offer from the South Koreans? Who knows...

That's what I'm thinking. Don't know what Bob has done to justify getting tossed to the curb, unless Bob doesn't really want the position himself, though I just can't see that.

Bob can lock his job just by finding a replacement for Beasley (May be Robbie R) and somebody effective and aggressive to prowl on the right side (May be Zizzo if he is healthy ) Right after he take care of the wings problem he need to RAVAGE CONCACAF....without mercy, no strategy just RAW POWER .....

We still don't have a technical director... maybe that's the position he's talking about.

yea my bad i meant Brazilian or Dutch total football. With the players we now have like Adu,Rogers,Altidore etc. it would be best. An empty bucket system is hurting our team.

mate, no coach in the world could have made togo act right. Adebayor basically led the destruction of the team that qualified for the wc by basically forcing the Togo FA to let Keshi go. That team was Adebayors team and just a messed up one. Otto did what he could.

I wouldnt believe otto's story at all.

The Dutch dont play Total Football anymore..

Adebayor just asked for his teammates to get paid... he didnt lead any destruction, the Togo FA fucced them over...

What I find amusing in the source material is how the writer is shocked about this report because "everyone" thinks that Bob Bradley is doing a "fine job." He's definitely done some things well. But the man is a blown offside call from being 3-7 in his last 10 games while playing increasingly dull soccer.

Personally, when I stop and think about it, even as a Bradley skeptic, I cut him some slack for that record, because he did have a pretty tough road schedule, not always at full strength, and he has done a good job breaking in new players. So I can personally accept some difficulties in the first year of the cycle, if I can see the dividends down the line.

At the same time, I can see where his boss might see it differently, where he wouldn't be real enthralled with that record, or with the direction of the team, which has been playing less and less attractive soccer as time goes on.

I'm not putting too much credence in this report for now. However, it will be interesting to see Soccer House's reaction in the next couple days.

Does Gulati think he made a bad decision in replacing Arena last time around? He took forever and after blundering the chance to sign Klinsi, hired Bradley as a last resort. Could brining in someone now be Gulati's way of trying to rectify that mess before its too late? My heart wants to hope that Gulati is actually looking for someone that knows how to coach the international game, but my mind tells me that Gulati has shown he is pretty much a tool when it comes to getting anything done.

Really? Ourschedule has gotten a lot better. People are thrilled with his choice of U-17 coach. Klinsi aside, I think he's done a lot of good things.

no Gulati is doing a good job. the only mistake he made was by making Bradley coach after K linsmann said no. H e knows we need a diffrent coach bc he knows if bradley is the coach vs poland ,spain and possibly england they will lose badly another coach he might get the players ready to beat england. Poland usa has no chance sorry we have improved a million times since world cup 2006 we probally are a dark horse for euro 08 we will suprise people. spain a coach could make a diffrence with who he selects if bradley choses bornsien usa would have zero chance. a diffrent coach could give them better confidence to go to Wembley and beat a very ovverrated England team bradley would shit his pants. if bradley stays USA will lose all 3 games in europe.hands down

Need to correct myself. 3-6-1. Mexico just feels like a loss, even though it was a draw.
