Never ever even reading his single post again after today.I have never blocked any poster in my life, but today if i don't it will be absolute mockery of football. Compete and utter waste of time.

Ronaldo isn't even better than Puskas or maybe Platini, let alone Messi lol..
Peak for peak he might not even be the best Portuguese player ever, considering Eusebio's insane 1964/65 and 1965/66 seasons.

    Was this you in 2023?

    :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

    By the way for me
    Platinis peak > Cristianos peak

But I had to watch literally hundreds of his goals, assists and several dozen of his matches to come to that conclusion

It was not to gain a cheap rep from likeminded baboons.

I don't think Platini's peak is better, even if I prefer his football.

The delusional Twitter user Kylian's Kompany thinks he knows football, yet he still compares Ronaldo with Messi. Telling me I've never watched Eusebio. Ok :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:. Everyone knows you have an agenda against Barca legends and love dick-riding Ronaldo and Zidane. Don't try so hard to act like you're logical and unbiased.

Ability wise ronaldo isn't even better than the genius Hagi. It's a shame Hagi was inconsistent in domestic football.
His 88/89 UCL campaign is better than any version of ronaldo tbh. Don't let me start on the World cup.
If he were from a footballing powerhouse, he would be top 10 ever at worst.

Yeah Hagi reputational status -and even more Ballon d'Or chances- were partly spoiled by overrated (Van Basten) or laughably overrated (Rijkaard) players that possessed less talent than him but had the luck to end up signing for the right teams. Though honestly I would not put Hagi among the ten best ever, I would say he was a solid top ten of his time (I have seen him playing in UCL and in serie A many times, once even live at San Siro). But surely a very skilled one, the kind of players whose highlights make the likes of Zidane's pale in comparison.

    But

after this current World Cup 2026

    Football is shared between

    the King Pelé

    Abism

    Lionel Messi

    Abism

    then to compete
for the top 3 and beyond Top-4 etc.etc.etc..

There are about 100 names of players .

    But

    Top-1
    and
    Top-2

    is Pelé and Messi ...

    without much discussion

Bringing up Ronaldinho shows you're out of touch with reality.

    No ,
Hagi didn't perform well in several decisive matches clubs and Nation at the same time

I watched some entire Steaua Bucharest matches in the 1988/1989 European Champions Cup season...

Steaua Bucharest was very very lucky in the draw, getting so many many weaker teams in a row ...

    AC Milan

    got really tougher opponents.

Due to the serious injury problems faced by Gullit and Van Basten, AC Milan rarely had their foreign players available between 1987 and 1994.

I agree with you, top two positions in the alltime ranking are locked. And I agree also on placing Pelé #1. When I started hangong out in this forum, I knew a little about him. Then several posts I read here, including yours for sure, made me curious about his game, and I digged quite some footages from youtube. What I would say now is that, however outstanding Messi has proved to be, Pele looked even a bit more untouchable by his contemporaries.

    yes ,

When I was 16 years old, watching all the matches of the 1998 World Cup,

I believed it would be impossible for anyone to emerge who could equal the King Pelé.

    But starting

    with the 2008/2009 season

    Messi emerged

And Johan Cruyff encouraged this to happen .

    Cruyff spoke with Guardiola...
...and convinced Guardiola to let Ronaldinho go to AC Milan in 2008/2009

Cruyff made a prediction that came true as the years went by " year by year ".

    Cruyff said:

    Ronaldinho's peak has passed away ;
his best years—or seasons—are already over.

Messi will win the Ballon d'Or seven or eight times whole career easily .

He is better than me, Don Di Stéfano, Diego armando Maradona, Michel Platini, FRanz Beckenbauer, Mané Garrincha, or Ferenc Puskás—or Eusebio

perhaps even slightly abit better than Pelé.

With Xavi dictating the tempo of matches and Messi deciding them,

we no longer need the washed-up finished Ronaldinho Gaúcho.

Pelé was stronger like Adriano Drunk 2003-2006
Pelé was faster like Ronaldo Nazario de Lima 1997&1998
Pelé was technical like Cruyff , Platini , Zidane & Zico
Pelé was greater in the air like Ruud Gullit & c. Ronaldo !

Well you know Zico is my favourite player both for technical -he has embodied the football-arte like no one else- and emotional reasons -he was the superstar player of my childhood years, the most sought-after at WC82, the greatest football event of my childhood ans thus of my entire life. But I know he was not as great as Messi generally speaking. He could have, if he had been physically stronger, faster, more agile. Quality wise he was godd enough to match Messi, even a bit better.

Even Hollywood can’t write this movie script

This soon to be World Cup final referee was once detained in a house in Bosnia and Herzegovina alongside several other individuals. Inside the property, authorities found dozens of prostitutes, four packets of cocaine, ten pistols and three protective vests. He was subsequently released without charge.

Maradona has absolutely nothing to do in the big 3 conversation imo, even CR deserves it more to be mentioned There.

Stop this nonsense. I agree that some people overrate Maradona, treating him like he was an untouchable god without any weaknesses or anything but ability wise he is third only to Pele and Messi. He produced the best ever individual campaign in 1986. He is overrated in some aspects, but apart from Pele, Messi and maybe maybe Cruyff, I can't see anyone ahead of him. Di Stefano failed to qualify for the 1958 World Cup so I can't consider him above Maradona, although ability wise he was very close too.
