I guess I expected a little hype on the ESPN "Soccer" page about the MLS Cup. Just a little teeny bit. Maybe some analysis from Bradley or Connelly? Wire reports on the Revs or Gals last playoff match? MLS press releases? How about a couple pictures? Beuler? Beuler? Basically, if you looked at the page right now, Tuesday night, you would have no idea at all that the championship match was being shown live on ABC in just five days. OK, its only Tuesday, but come on, that is just too lame. I guess ESPN's web guys are saying, "You want content, MLS? Do it yourself!"
Why would they support something that they get terriblre ratings on anyways, again I am as upset as you, but what have we lived with our whole lives. Don't worry, our day will come.
i am sure marc will have something on-line tomorrow...at least i would hope he would after the good interview he did on espn radio this afternoon...
If they had a stake in the ad revenue, they probably would promote it more. But would MLS matches be in national TV if MLS/SUM make the deal they currently have?
With the title of this thread, I thought one of the anchors went on a rant about soccer bashing it. I guess I just expect that from espn.
