The match between Seattle and Vancouver this Saturday June 7 will be a "war" to be sure. After hard-fought 2-2 and 0-0 draws in their earlier meetings this year (which included 3 red-card ejections) both teams want to get back on the offensive track. Seattle leads the Pacific with 14 points while the Whitecaps sit in second place with 11. Both teams have played 7 matches. Seattle has 4 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss. The 'Caps are at 3 wins,2 draws and 2 losses.

Both teams will be missing key players. The game will in part be a test of bench talent/strength.

The Sounders are expecting their biggest crowd of the year:
It's Military Appreciation Night (complete with jet fly-over)
It's Union 76 mini soccer ball night.
It's "get in free" night for ticketholders of the San Jose MLS exhibition match.
It's Seattle-Vancouver: a bus load of 'Caps fans expected.
It's going to be 87 degrees and sunny.
It's going to be a war.
