I'm interested in possibly finding an internship in England wiith team or a pub but after some searches have had no luck. Does anyone know how I should go about this or how I can find an internship?

Good Luck. Right now it is going to be really hard for you to find anything, unless you have some magical way of getting a work permit. Look for a grandparent or someone with British citizenship. My grandparents are both British citizens and it still took me forever to be granted a work permit.

Try calling the team direct. I did that a few years ago with a Division 2 team. It surprised the hell out of them...................I never followed up on it! Don't be like I was..................go for it!

OK, color me stupid, but how does an internship with a pub work? I once worked in a restaurant and could have anything on the menu to eat, so...

It sounds so great I'm sure I've got it wrong.

Maybe it's best not to know and leave me to my reverie...:)

i wanna know too. what is the point in "interning" at a pub?

that must be the new pc term for bartender. :D

if you are looking at an internship at a pro club and want some sort of temporary visa, i suggest going to school in england for a semester or year (of course that all depends on you cash flow and previous education i suppose to a certain extent). that would bipass the work permit problem.

I know some hotel and hospitality majors can get credits for working in restaurants or pubs.
