I have been unable to find any reviews of the FIFA world cup DVD set (the 4 part history off the World Cup). Has anyone bought it? What do you think? Lots of features/ no features? Interesting narrative or dull? Fun to watch or clinical and boring? USA format or otherwise?

    all comments very welcome.

    thank, Armand

I got the series for my birthday this summer. It's not bad but it's not amazing. The best two are the first two in the series. I'm a sucker for footage of old uniforms and goalies wearing those newspaper boy hats from the 30's and 40's. It's a British product and their knowledge of the U.S. team was laughable. From the 94 segment they showed the highlights of the U.S./Colombia match and said "even the defenders got into the action when Randy Cordoba barely missing the goal off a spectacular scissor kick". This was Marcelo Balboa they were referring to! My advice is buy one and see if you like it before getting the others in the series.
