    --Handsome fellow huh?

Anyway, I hate these people so much it's impossible for me to even try to reason with them, but if any of you more level headed types would like to have a go at this corporate monster I would really appreciate it. There has to be someone on that rather large contact list that can give an answer to our questions.

What I would most like to know from them is what our recourse is if we feel we are being excessively harassed our treated in an "obtrusive" way by one of their untrained goons. (as was the case last home game.)

I HOPE zack has not forgotten about this already because I cannot emphasize enough how pissed off people were and still are about the events of Sept. 19.

You can find lots of useful things on the net. If you have a problem keep a record of this nice collection of e-mail addresses. If other MLS fans have trouble with these goofballs they too can shoot them an e-mail. I'm not sure it matters but what the the hell, right?

Is it just me, or does he look like one of the Illinois Nazis from the Blue's Brothers?

"The only thing I hate more than a Nazi... is an Illinois Nazi."

Lay in to them if you have gripes. And I'm sure you do.

These hacks rank up there with airport security. Have pulse will hire. This part especially cracks me up "providing unobtrusive crowd management services."

Of course it is "unobtrusive", the guy doesn't get a billy club or riot shield! In crowd management circles, that is considered "unobtrusive".

I would prefer to take the high road on this issue and settle it once and for all. A while back my good friend Red&Black suggested that Oscar, Begbie and myself along with a DCU rep met with the CSC. Steve Zack thought this was a good idea and should be pursued. We only mention Barra members because the majority of the trouble happens in the Barra and the Screamers as a rule are better behaved anyway. I know alot of the crap that happens in the Barra has been brought on by ourselves and we need to deal with that inhouse. But when it comes to a security staff person basically goading you into an altercation and then inciting a near riot, that issue has to be addressed.
I've been in the Barra since 96 and I'll be the first to tell you we're no angels. We've done some screwed up stuff and taken our lumps for them. I just think that we need to find some middle ground with security and resolve this for good. Getting into a pissing match with them will not do anybody any good, and in the end they will win anyways. Lets do this intelligently and constructively.

You're right Chico, but at least we know who they actually are now, rather than labeling them "RFK security." We weren't bombarding them or anything. It's more for information. You're also right that we are not saints, but we aren't complete devils either. I have a couple boring weekends without the Barra ahead maybe we can all go fishing.

How about we head down to Lot 8 with some brewskis and some fishing poles. We can fish The Mighty Anacostia and reminice. Kinda like killing two birds with one stone. :D

So that is where they fished that security guy from!

And we were calling him an SOB, highly inappropriate since he was hatched!

ps-I still have not gotten my Barra Brava membership stuff, I guess my acts of support were not seen as being constructive! ;)
