Here are a couple of links to start with...US Youth Soccer/Coaches web site and the the National Soccer Coaches Association of American web site.

And then just do a Google search, putting the phrase, soccer coaching jobs, in the search window. Quite a few will come up.

You might also try to find fellow countrymen who have coached or who are currently coaching in the States to talk to. Not only will they be able to talk about how it's done (and what not to do), but the best way to get a job is through personal contacts.

    Good luck.

    Hi Talksoccer365,

There was (is?) an outfit, Britannia Soccer USA, that brought English players over during the summer to run youth soccer camps. The reason I'm not sure about whether they exist any more is that when I search on Google for them I see plenty of activity (don't know the age of the links, however, since some sites remain up and unchanged for years) all over the US, but no central web site for the organization itself. You might see if you can find an organization by that name in England.

Our club used to contract with them for summer youth development programs. It was pretty interesting. Really nice kids (they'd stay at people's homes while running the camps) and interesting times...one night my wife had to get up at about three in the morning and drive to the local lock-up to spring three of our coaches who were staying with us and who had been doing a bit too much partying.

We're no longer associated with the local soccer club and it hasn't used Britiannia for several years once it found a local soccer academy that now runs our youth and coach development programs. So I have no contacts to offer.

The US can always use a few quality soccer coaches...and the joke around here is that a UK accent gets you some extra crebility, so take advantage of it!

Here are a few links for some quality organizations in Arizona:

    http://www.serenosoccer.com/
    www.azfc.com

    Good luck!
