I think we all pretty much had given up on AWB but his recent return has been a breath of fresh air.

Good backup if he continues, but I don't think he wants to be a backup or we can afford such an expensive one. Likely will be sold.

Yeah he will at the end of the season but he is looking good now and will get good money which his play is showing he deserves.

I think he can do a job. He might not be happy to sit the bench on a losing or middling team but on a team competing on several fronts? I think if he continues to play at this level and he is ok to stay, we should keep him.

Either way, he will fetch a bigger price off the back of this form. For me, if we can get 30m for him, do it, get Frimpong in. If not, keep AWB, get Laird a prem loan. Didn’t realize but he’s out of contract in the summer (Laird).

I think he returns to CP in the summer, but if he's offered a chance to extend, he should take it. I'd welcome it. He's a good alternative to Dalot and gives us something a bit different.

I'd just like to be sure to give this man his flowers. I hadn't really fully focussed on it but the equalizer doesn't happen if he doesn't take a difficult pass from Casemiro (behind him slightly and an awkward height), beat the press, evaded pressure from 2 players and played the ball to Casemiro in space eliminating 3 City players. He created the transition himself basically.

And that came in a purple period for him when he had beaten 3 players up the pitch and later on taken a good shot that was eventually blocked.

All down AWB, go to midtable club or be a squad player and with ETH you never know he might start more games.

I’m convinced ETH is the best manager in the world. He’s got Luke Shaw looking like a world class CB and AWB dribbling past players. He’s a miracle worker.

Im genuinely afraid for PL defenders when ETH finishes working on Sancho.

AWB has always been a good dribbler, he's good at take ons. One thing that he's benefited from is knowing where his options are before he gets the ball. Another benefit is that Scott isn't playing next to or near him. Casemiro is always offering himself and frequently in a good position to receive a simple ball.

He has a lot of the right qualities. If he could improve on a few things, particularly his crossing, he might own his position. Right now, he's an alternative to Dalot when we need battle down the hatches.

…and now he’s injured. Out several weeks according to the official site. This is getting ridiculous.

Now reports are saying he’s out 2 months. Guess it’s time to run Regulon and Dalot into the ground because there is nobody else.

Why did he come on in the 85th minute again?

Once we shifted from low block defending, he was never gonna be good enough. I will credit him for showing up and trying. I remember when he even moved to left back due to a Shaw withdrawal. Good guy on the team, no real drama or problems and never short changed on effort. I wish him the best.
