sin el chileno Suazo, toma un protagonismo distinto al del anterior torneo.

primera vez que un jugador Marca dupla: con la derecha y la izquierda, para la liga mejicana

    ojala tenga buena temporada.

quien tiene mas datos del pasado de walter? de cual equipo salio?

Walter Ayovi is a product of Emelec. He played in Barcelona (where he had mediocre performances) and also played in El Nacional where he was the stand out player. From there he went to Monterrey.

Walter is really not seeing minutes this season in Monterrey. WTF. Seriously? He may be 31 or 32 but he's still got enough fuel in his tank to play at a high level in mexico. In that case he should have just left to Barcelona this year. But I remember Monterrey saying they need him and didn't wanna let him go. Sounds odd to me. It'd be pretty tight if either Barcelona or Emelec try to get him to come back to Ecuador after June or any team that has the budget. We can't have the captain of the NT riding the bench, it's just not right.

Monterrey's having CCL matches soon, so I guess there will be more rotation in the squad.

IMO, It's time for Walter to comeback home and find a team where he'll play and stay in shape throughout the WCQ.

Ayoví is sadly getting old very quickly. Since his signing, he's been one of our best, despite the constant switches in tactics that take him from wingback to center or left midfielder. He doesn't have the speed for the wingback position anymore. But as a midfielder, there aren't many in the league who are better at distributing and at maintaining possession. The bad thing for him is that one of the players that does it better also plays for our team, Erik Gutierrez. They play the same position and the other center mid position (right now it belongs to De Buen) will probably be taken over soon by Junior Sornoza.

Ayoví has been great but with his age he's not going to be able to keep up with his competition.
