Caught up with an Executive Council member of Walker End Houston to talk about the future of Walker End and the present. Biggest impact for tonight's game and games going forward. Clock chants at 15', 30' 60', 75' and are listed at Walker End's website and direct link in story. Make sure you know what the chant will be and tell every fan you know. Let's blow away Kansas City tonight! Take a moment to read the Walker End story and how every fan can get involved starting tonight. http://www.ordinaryorangefan.com/2012/07/walker-end-houston-aims-to-improve.html
But TA and EB still won't do it together. The only time they do something together is when they try to do let's go dynamo. And even then TA starts doing it reall fast for some reason and gets off rhythm. It's just a jumbled mess of noise from the SS most of the time. Which is a shame because I LOVE the atmosphere a SG can bring into the stadium
The best stadium wide sound I have seen was for the 4th of July game when the vamos, vamos Houuston chant was going then then cut out to acappella with only words with the clap. Most of the fans didn’t sing, but they did clap and there was enough that did sing that made is sound great. It was simple and sounds great.
At least its a step in the right direction. The groups are realizing the problem and making an effort to correct it.
Spot on! The most important part is this is the start. All SG's have agreed to get on board w/ these chants for the sake of the stadium, fans, and team. It's a great start. Not an immediate fix, but great start. Just make sure all people around you know about it and you are one of the people helping the cause!
Actually, TA and EB developed this new agreement on clock timed chants working together thru WEH. Kuddoes to both TA and EB for doing so.
EB has not. EB has agreed, along with TA, EB, and BW, to do the chants at the specified times. Presumably because the stadium sounds awesome with everyone on the same beat, and sounds like dog sh*t with everyone not.
Damn it I am out of town for the next two possibly three home games. I am in 237, and could here people around me singing Vamos Houston against DC the other night.
We've been doing the 15, 30, 60, 75 Let's go Dynamo together for a few games now. Still working n the rhythm but it's getting there. I agree. EB talked about doing Vamos Houston in the 85th if we were tied or down that's why we didn't do it against DC. But I'm gonna get it to just be even if we're winning. Make it our stadium tradition. We realize the sound isn't there and while we can't sing the same songs the entire game we can try a few things throughout the game. EB will help out WE with anything chant/Tifo/support related.
I was in section 219 (complete opposite of the SG's). I couldn't hear ISH coordinated at the times specified and throughout most of the game and I could barely even hear the SG's since they all do their own thing....sounded awful honestly. I've sat with the SG's this year and every game so far i've sat close to them. With that said I cannot believe how bad it sounds (doesn't sound) from the opposite side. Didn't think it was that bad. You could however hear the KC people who were there in their corner....some of the Dynamo fans (including me) tried to start chanting to throw them off but for the most part it never worked. I'm not criticizing any SG groups or anything like that I love those guys. Just pointing out that from the opposite side you can see the SG's and hear them a little bit but it has no effect on the fans on that side since it sounds very faint. What can be done? I would help with whatever is needed we need extra support for the fans on that side!!!
Numbers. A few hundred people in one corner is not gonna carry throughout that stadium. We need to get the sections around us involved, and then they get the sections around them involved. Only way I see it possible. The FO was supposed to put Let's Go Dynamo on the LED boards during the times we had agreed upon but they ********ed that up and then didn't believe us when we told them it wasn't working.
That's it ******** this ********ing shit! I'm going to ******** this ********ing conversation up!!!! DON'T EVER TELL ME WHAT TO ********ING DO!!!! Seriously, though, this is the type of conversation we need. The road blocks to everybody holding hands and being friends have always been held up by two types of people, one of them the FO for being so stubborn, and the other type are people with too much pride to swallow. I personally have no problem with getting the whole stadium singing together, not just the SG end, and it is everybody's dream to have the whole stadium join in. Every single time I look around and see sidelines participating...I GET ********ING GOOSEBUMPS! Everybody just needs patience and to understand that bickering will only get certain people frustrated and we'll end up taking one step forward but two steps back.
How about a special song for Jesse Marsch to the tune of O Canada: O Jesse Marsch Your coach and big ass-ho*e True douche-bag-ery, in every move he makes With a flaming dick, he leads your team, the froggies from the North From far and wide, O Jesse Marsch, we cheer failure with glee!!!
takes skill to come up with this... westie should have his own supporters group on the west side of stadium.. no bums allowed!!!
Verse II And when you played For the US Nats Your two games didn't come close To Ching and his 45 caps
EB won't be at the game tonight, so you all don't have to worry about a messed up sound for this game. http://www.facebook.com/LaBandaDelDynamo
