He slagged off Toshack when he first got the job, so Toshack says he won't play for him, so Savage retires from internationals. He wants to come back apparently, but only if Toshack says sorry. Which he won't. So there's a fairly weak midfield instead of a great one there was not too long ago. Whatever happened to Ward?
Toshack is a total knob to be honest. Wales' central midfield now is abysmal, we need to have Pembridge and Savage back.

Expecting to be exempt from that for any period of time is unrealistic.
