Re: Wake vs Clemson Recap???????? The key to the game was the ejection of Clemson's John David Brooks in the 11th minute. Wake was playing without two injured starters, Justin Moose and Steven Curfman, so it may have been a very different game were it 11 v 11 all match. That being said, the red was well deserved, and actually, the ref seemed to give the Tigers some breaks later due to being down a man. Once Wake went up 1-0 late in the first half, it was fairly clear that Clemson would be unlikely to get back in it, showing very little attack. It was a chippy game that saw all 21 players on the pitch involved in a little pushing and shoving near the Clemson goal with about 2 minutes to go. That resulted in a Red against the Deacons and a Yellow for Clemson.

Re: Wake vs Clemson Recap???????? Wake mid Ryan Solle made a run to about 25yds from goal then sent a pass forward. About a second after releasing the pass, Brooks took a vicious kick at his legs from behind. Solle went down but was able to continue.
