Though you guys might like this link to an interesting Bob Wagman article on what happened with Moreno and Hudson last year and Arena's assessment of Moreno from the fall training camp he had. You guys have the potential of the best forward tandem in MLS next year by a mile. Or not...

I've got high hopes now!!! It would be nice to see him come in motivated and be there when perhaps Mathis is not due to Nats duty. Together, they could be pretty scary. Let's see how the midfield saga plays out.

Of course, I was pretty hopeful for the Mathis/Serna tandem last year.

Where was Moreno? In one key match at Giants Stadium that United ended up losing 1-0 in overtime, he was having a late lunch in the media lounge. Then the final straw seemed to be a must-win home match for which the Bolivian was not dressed. Following the bitter loss, Hudson exploded before the media - while Moreno was playing ping-pong in the United lockerroom.

AHHHHHH HA HA HA!!!!! OMG, HAHAHA!! Now THAT is F'n HILARIOUS!!!!!!!! ROFLOL!!!!!

Something tells me that Clint will introduce him to beer pong this season.

Should be a learning experience for the Bolivian International. :-D

Learning experience? Maybe, but it sure does fit with one of his nicknames, Plate O' Food.

Playing ping pong...talking on the cellphone...listening to music with headphones, whatever...in the end, it all translates to Moreno saying, "I have no respect for you, Ray Hudson, so you'd better trade me." Hopefully, Bob's words in the NY Daily News - about challenging Moreno to be great again - sink in. Seems a lot of us have forgotten about the Moreno who's torched Metro with goals and assists for, oh, the past seven years or so. In '99, he was clearly the most gifted player in MLS, a combination of speed, skill (and in his mid-20s at the time) that the league hasn't been able to find often. Twenty-nine should not be over the hill. We shall see.

As fast and talented Moreno may be, he is lazy.

His laziness has kept him off the national team for years.

Me being Bolivian and all, I dont want him anywhere near Vaca if he was to end up in your team.

Diablo made many crisp passes that Moreno should have caught on to last year. Dude is too lazy.

    Lazy?

I have seen Moreno working with MLS and college players from the DC area in preseason fitness training recently. Yesterday they played in the rain. His attendance in this non-required activity tells me he's not lazy and may have a renewed energy going to play for Bradley. Seeing is believing so let's wait for the season to begin before anyone passes judgement on Moreno.

Well I hope your right. He could still be an asset to the Bolivian national team if he gets his act together.

I for one would be suprised if he actually uses his talent in MOST games, not just a few.

Bolivia gave up on him 4 years ago, I gave up on him 2 years ago. He wont change, at least not to the player you all expect him to be. His attitude blows. What a waste of talent.
