The first confirmed cases of a highly contagious viral infection hitting the
    UK are coming in.

Scientists have named it the WBA virus and expect it to be Nationwide by
    5:00pm this coming Saturday.

I got it, it was lovely.

I am just happy that when I decided that I would support a newly promoted team this year, I chose the right one. It's a shame they have been on such a slide these past couple of weeks.

Doesn't Wolves have a permanent case of this?

I think many Albion fans have seen relegation coming all along... :(

But better to have been a poor Premier League team than to never have been Premier at all, eh, Eggy? BTW my money's on Forest in the playoffs.

Haven't I established that WBA will be relegated?

    Whorethorns... very clever.

Just wondering, when was the last time Wolves played in the Premier? Oh, that's right, they haven't. (Not in its current form anyway.) BTW, I LOVED it last season when Dave Jones and Wolves fandom were talking about promotion as though it were an absolute certainty, a God-given right... and then to have it all fall apart in the end... :D

Don't worry, we'll get promotion and we'll show you how to stay up proper. We won't be making fools of ourselves

How's the ginger twat? He still courting prostitues?

Makes me laugh how you idiots say he was your "Steve Bull". Fooked off to Coventry, did nothing there..went back and is still doing nothing.

Typical Dingle, already talking like promotion is a certainty... just like last year, in February, and then prior to your playing Norwich in the playoffs.

No I cannot doubt that Hughesie has been a tremendous disappointment this year.

But if there is anything I've learned as an Albion fan, it's that the Wulfs will always seem to find a way to disappoint their fans as well. Just wondering, Eggy, were you the fan at the final game at the Molineux holding the banner with the words, "YOU'VE LET US DOWN AGAIN"? :D

The only bright spot for the Baggies is that they will likely finish higher than this bunch in the table:

Hang on, Reyna wants to stay at Sunderland?? And they're not going to sell him? Unbelievable.

I don't like Rangers, but I thought it was a mistake for him to leave Ibrox for (of all teams) Sunderland. A lot of Gers fans laughing at the moment...

I saw a quote from him the other day, unfortunately, can't remember the site, but he said he intends to stay at Sunderland.

    A Song for Eggy

    MISS ALBION PIE

    > A long long time ago
    > I can still remember
    > How the Albion used to make me smile
    > And we knew if we had our chance
    > That we could make those people dance
    > And maybe we'd be happy for a while.
    > But February made us shiver
    > With every loss that they'd deliver
    > Relegation on the doorstep
    > Not one single goal could they get
    > I can't remember if I cried
    > When I watched them lose to a better side
    > But something touched me deep inside
    > The day the Albion died
    >
    > Bye bye, Miss Albion Pie
    > Got 5 wins in the Premmy
    > And then the Premmy ran dry
    > The good ol' big boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye
    > Singing "this'll be the day that the Albion die,
    > This'll be the day that the Albion die."
    >
    >
    > Did you dish the dirt on Paul Thompson
    > And do you have faith in Peace above
    > If the Chairman tells you so
    > Do you believe in life on the dole
    > Can Albion save your mortal soul
    > And can you teach them how to play real slow
    > Well I know that you're in love with them
    > "Cause I saw you boinging in the prem
    > You both kicked off your shoes
    > Man, I hate those whites and blues
    > Your a lonely b *****d in a Tesco top
    > With a $**t team and f **k all luck
    > And I knew you'd blown the dream
    > to be a premier team
    > The day the Albion died.
    >
    > Bye bye, Miss Albion Pie

    > Singing "this'll be the day that the Albion die,
    > This'll be the day that the Albion die."
    >
    > Now for many years theve been on there own
    > Whilst Hughseless grows fat in his stately home
    > But that's not how it used to be
    > When Buckley sang for a King and Queen
    > In a drag outfit he borrowed from Mr. Bean
    > And a voice that came from you and me
    > Oh, and while Astle was looking down
    > Jason stole his thorny crown
    > The Courtroom was adjourned
    > No verdict was returned
    > And whilst Megson read a book on attack
    > The players leaked goals at the back
    > And we sang songs giving flack
    > The day the Albion died.

    >
    > Helter Skelter in a Sandwell shelter
    > The first team squad began to melt..er
    > Hoult to Arsenal and Koumas not far behind running fast
    > Whilst Megson played around on the grass
    > The remaining players tried for a forward pass
    > With Darren on the sidelines in his cast
    > Now the half time air was sweet perfume
    > While Megson played his marching tune
    > We all got up to dance
    > Oh, but we never got the chance
    > "Cause the players tried to take the field

    > A generation lost in space
    > With no time left to start again
    > So come on Jason be nimble, Jason be quick
    > Whilst Hughseless misses every kick
    > Cause fire is the Devil's only friend
    > Oh and as I watched him on the stage
    > My hands were clenched in fists of rage
    > No angel born in hell
    > Could break Gary Megson's spell
    > And as the flames climbed high into the night
    > To moonlight the sacrificial rite
    > I saw Wanderers fans laughing with delight
    > The day the Albion died.

    > And I asked her for some happy news
    > But she just smiled and walked away
    > I went down to the shithole ground
    > Where I'd seen them play years before
    > But the man there said the players couldn't play
    > And in the streets the children screamed
    > The Chairman cried and the fans still dreamed
    > But not a word was spoken
    > The Albion, they all were broken
    > And the three men I admire most
    > Megson, Peace and Lee "Useless" Hughes's Ghost

I'd give you kudos for that clever song if it hadn't been blatantly copied from some other source...

Great. Now I have to come up with a Wolves version of "Hotel California".
