I have no question to ask. Oh wait..."Any chance Jaime wins MVP?" That's all there's left to care about this season. The rest will be his stock answers regarding stadium, Adu, rookies etc. etc. Thx, Jay!
I can't believe he answered the "Ditka vs Adu" question - the question pool must be as tedious as predicted.
That's no good. The team has horrible luck in getting players back from South America. The Chino Syndrome.
Los Angeles, CA: Hey Steven! It's Steve S. from LA! My soccer team's playing in a big game this weekend, and if we lose I'll probably be fired. Do you think I'll be unemployed on Monday? Steven Goff: You're done. Maybe you and Freddy can get together. This just put me on the floor laughing, god Sampson sucks!
This will piss off a lot of fans U Street DC: Any fall out from the crowd actions in the last game against the Fire? Steven Goff: You mean the smoke bombs and the obnoxious chants directed at the officials? Or the objects tossed at the linesman? Not a honorable day on the field or in the stands
Steven Goff: Eskandarian is expected to be fully healthy in December. However, it's been a while since he's actually played in a game, so everyone will have to be patient. Yeah right. Whats the over/under for people calling to have Esky traded or beheaded after missing two or three shots on goal in the 2nd game of next season? Guaruntee his actions or inability to get back into shape by day one will have all those pitchforks and torches held up and ready to go.
Washington, D.C.: Is it true that Talon is going to be replaced by Pollito, the Pollo Campero mascot? Steven Goff: Mmmmmmmm, chicken. Sorry, haven't kept up on my mascot transactions. OK which troll asked this one?
3 goals, 3 assists, and a ton of pinged posts. Really would be a mistake to let him go at this point. 1. we should keep Jail, if he sticks around for a reasonable price. He's not good enough to, say, start in an eastern conference semifinal match, but hes a weapon off the bench for sure. 2. Jamils goals in reserve matches were the same type of goals he was scoring for the first team... clean-up duty or lucky bounces turned chances. Nanas were of a different sort... Also, Nana has touch, creativity, vision, a wicked shot, and skill on the dribble, all of which Jamil, umm... doesnt have.
Don't think so. He had a big shot and scored some goals, but was a liability most of the time. He irritated coaches and players by not keeping his head in the game. You might forgive that in a hugely talented player but if he can't crack the top 15 and doesn't concentrate, you're going to be saying goodbye.
