Hi all I thought I would create a thread to try and get things moving for VSR 2021-22. The list of teams is below, taken from the 'intent to continue' thread: Very Small Rocks 1. Tangers FC - Confirmed & Relegated 2. ChrisSuttonsSlippers - Confirmed 3. Morning Glory - Confirmed 4. Keysersoze Wanderers - Confirmed 5. Soccer Steve - Confirmed 6. BiggerBoat - Confirmed 7. Kicking & Screaming - Confirmed & Promoted 8. Lokomotiv Lewisham (tpadams, me) - Confirmed & Promoted I have created the league on the FPL site with the code: pj5rt1 It might be helpful if everyone could 'check-in' on this thread, perhaps with their timezone (I am in BST/UTC +1), and give any preference for when we start the draft or any issues they foresee doing it over the next couple of weeks. We can sort proxies as needed. My assumption is finishing the draft at least a day or two before the season starts on Friday 13th August would be ideal to give time for post-draft adjustments. I am happy to start whenever really, but probably needs to be by middle of next week at the latest, and we could start this weekend if people are ready. Once we've got a start date confirmed, I can do a randomizer to establish the order.

Just to mess with everyone's head and the smoothness of the draft , I'm from Wollongong, Australia. Don't know the official time zone code thingy, but I'm not far from Sydney (close enough to be caught in there bloody lockdown ). Basically you'll be asleep when I'm awake. I haven't put one ounce of thought into the FPL yet, but that's nothing new. I'll be ok to go after the weekend, after the hangover subsides
Given the variety of time zones, I suggest we just get going and once we see the draw we can plan proxies to keep it moving. Shall we try and start the draft on Monday 2 August, 8pm UK time (which will be early afternoon US, early morning on Tuesday Australia)? I'm out and about today but will do a randomizer draw tomorrow if people are happy with that.
I am here and and ready to go... and like @tjh71 have 2 nights of hangover to get over after I had a mate visit from out of town and we spent far too long at the casino . I have watched about 5 games of EPL in 5 years, but love the FPL and would not miss it for the world. No laughing and scoffing at my picks... and that includes all your lunatics in other Divisions ( @blech @lobomojo etc) Let's do this
