Kansas City, here he comes Impact captain returns to where it all started Last weekend, Impact captain Davy Arnaud had a homecoming of sorts, playing against long time team mate and friend Jack Jewsbury and the Portland Timbers for the very first time. This Saturday, he’s playing against his former team, Sporting Kansas City, in the city where he spent the last 10 years. “It will be pretty special,” said Arnaud. “Definitely when the schedule came out, it was one of the games that I took a look. Kansas City is a special place for me. I look forward to it.” As much as he may be anticipating the return, the former U.S. international will have to adjust to the changes that come with being the enemy on game day. “The whole weekend will be different feeling. Going to KC and staying in a hotel, sitting on the visitors’ bench, coming off a bus to the stadium for the game. Felipe places one in the low corner from distance .. 1-0! Just admiring the CBs they have such quality with the ball.. Bernier has played well, some good passes up the field, etc .. not sure why he doesn't start most games.
KC play by play is pretty good. Not brain dead homers. And they actually call the game and not chat instead. Unusual in MLS. Bernier got a dumb yellow right in front of Marsch, maybe that's why he doesn't start most games. .. Marsch said F- on tv ..
