Brian Ching Watch the Impact take on Brian Ching and the Houston Dynamo this Saturday http://www.impactmontreal.com/en/video/2012/06/21/je-me-souviens-brian-ching
Any idea at what were looking at attendance wise with st jean baptiste long week end I'm afraid it could be low.
Ching has one goal in 11 games started .. He's always been notoriously over-rated in Houston, but now, on top of that, he's done ..
Bernier quite the playmaker this game .. More stats, goal, assist. Made alot of successful passes.. Did make a costly foul leading to the FK goal for Davis with over-zealous reaching with his foot to try to steal a ball. Felipe looked a bit spent all game, and was falling easily. Hopefully he doesnt get burnt out. Mapp looked tired as well. Arnaud had a good two-way game I thought.. Valentin capable.

Houston Dynamo – Montreal ImpactSaturday, July 21, 2012 – 8:30pm (ET)BBVA Compass Stadium, HoustonBroadcast: TVA SportsAlso available on: illico web, illico mobile, MLS Live MONTREAL, Quebec – The Montreal Impact (7-12-3) visits the lone star state to take on the Houston Dynamo (8-5-7) on Saturday, at 8:30pm (ET) at BBVA Compass Stadium. The Impact sits in 6th place in the Eastern Conference, seven points behind the Dynamo which is holding down the fourth spot. The Impact will conclude a sequence of 10 regular season games in only 36 days, which started with the first game at Stade Saputo, on June 16. This will be the second meeting between the two clubs this season. The first, played at Stade Saputo back on June 23, ended in a 4-2 win. Midfielders Sanna Nyassi, Davy Arnaud, Patrice Bernier, along with defender Hassoun Camara scored in that victory. http://www.impactmontreal.com/en/ne...-houston-dynamo-bbva-compass-stadium-saturday
That's really their problem right now, they are not playing well on the road. Missed the first half, but I see 0 shots on goal ..
Valentin taken out early .. I see on the first goal it was Valentin's man that got the better of him. Was that the reason I wonder. Bernier didn't start ... anyway let's see what happens in 2nd half
Wow Thomas made an amazing defensive play .. it was 2 on none basically and he caught up and got the ball. Di Vaio out for Bernier .. big shake up .. not sure who is the striker now.. lol
As I said Di Vaio is a piece of shit.. Many are in denial We cant rely on him ever since he came they always look shaky on field and lose but the worst is Camara (facepalm) the guy is a defender and cant even defend for his life....
to be honest it wasn't only on Valentin because the whole back line did a poor job defending. And he was taken out because he was injured.
Camara natural position isn't even centre back, he's a defensive midfielder. Di Vaio isn't a piece of shit but I agree he's not good in a system where he is the lone striker, especially at his size in a physical league.
Actually what Marsh needs to learn : - Bernier must always start - Mapp on the Left Wing not CAM or CM, Neagle can rest - Avoid starting Arnaud he is HORRIBLE - dont be afraid to bench Di Vaio - Let Nyassi as a RW he seems very comfortable and looking good game-by-game Good news is Nesta will play next match
I agree with you on Bernier being a must start and Mapp belonging on LW but you are way off on the rest. Arnaud is a tireless worker, his positioning is excellent and he tracks back with purpose and enthusiasm- he may not have had a great game today (then again- who did?) but he has been solid for us all season. I would alternate starting Di Vaio every now and then but who exactly do you want starting now? Eddy Sebrango? Hopefully Wenger heals up and we sign Bajram Fetai to sort this problem out. Nyassi was good against New England but missed a gilt-edged chance to tie things up today. He's good but his decision making is lacking, his quickness makes him the ideal super sub but I would never trust him with anything more than running fast in a straight line. The biggest problem with this team is that Rivas and Ferrari have been out for the busiest month of the season and now we're incorporating a new LB as well. This team isn't perfect but we've won more games than Chivas, Real Salt Lake, Toronto FC, and Vancouver did in their inaugural seasons. The only 21st century expansion sides to win more games are San Jose 2.0 (8) and Portland (12). If we can pick up 5 wins and equal Portland's win total I think we can consider this a solid first season.
Well I sure didn't like seeing Di Vaio as a lone striker .. not a fan of lone striker formations anyway, but Di Vaio as a lone striker is silly. He's small, and he's old. Lone striker? Small, so he's useless in the air. Old, so he gets tired faster that way. Why sign him if you're gonna use him in a stupid way. Impact was a bit unlucky ... when down 1-0 they had some good opportunities to score (after they dropped that stupid formation). But they had to convert one because the momentum shifted after ..
100% agree about di vaio up front alone being so stupid. i dont understand how we can see this is a stupid system yet the coaching staff thinks its gonna work
Now that there are 3 Canadian MLS teams in the league. I hate how TFC and Vancouver have every one of their games televised in English Canada, but I haven't seen Montreal televised since their inaugural game. Couldn't watch the Houston game and can't find the Lyon game either.
Lyon game online .. http://www.thefirstrow.eu/watch/132054/1/watch-montreal-impact-vs-olympique-lyon.html
TVA sports (french sports channel) got the rights to the montreal games for some reason. TSN/RDS only show big games. ex. toronto, LA, NY... i really dont get why.
TSN/RDS paid the big money for national MLS rights. That gave them all TFC and WFC games, plus 10 IMFC matches, of their choice. TVA got whatever was left.
