half time. shocking 1st 20 mins but then a sudden switch with very respectable bombardment of corner kicks that eventually ended up in a goal... By of all people, Vieira, who has otherwise been the worst player on the field for both teams, just spending the rest of the time giving the ball to the brazil lookin motherf*ckers and then a light jog back on defense for old pat today.

Corners have been very nice thus far. Very frustrating that more of em have not ended up in the back of the net. Stupid balo yellow at the end there, so we're sure to either

    1. be going down to ten men or

    2. having a mini uprising in the press when Balo flips sh*t for being subbed out.

second half. Mancini needs to let Toure and Lescott play the game that at this point in there careers they are only capable of... thats route one, chuck it and f*ck it. We have two tall, pwerful strikers that will be fine with hoofing it up there. No more of this Barca pass it round the back b*llshit not with these two jokerz playing cb. They are very poor on the ball, and every team we face has us completely figured out.

Just leave the two cbs on the ball, and cover everyone else... it's really that simple. This forces shit CBs like toure and lescott into making poor decisions, the ones that we've been seeing all year from them. They'll try to force a close range pass when a blast upfield will most certainly do at this point.

Lets hold on to this one boys. Hoof it up and leave for the young lads!!

If today was a try-out for who's going to play up front... Tevez and Dzecko look to be the winning combo.

Granted the game was much much more open and played into city's hands more, as chelsea has proven time after time a tight compact defense from pretty much anyone is tough to break down.

A dreadful (as in really dreadful) opening 20 minutes aside, this was lots of fun to watch. Them hitting the post seemed to wake us up and from there we dominated and could have had more than five (and should have via Dzeko near the end).

Top players: Silva (9.0), Dzeko (8.0), Tevez (7.5), Richards (7.5)

The pass by Dzeko to Tevez in setting up his goal was the best part of the match for me, that was sublime technique of the absolute highest quality. Even if the floodgates haven't opened yet, it is obvious that Dzeko will offer a lot more to the team than Adebayor with his impressive workrate.

Hmm, well what is there to say what hasn't been said? The talent is there to become one of the best strikers ever seen, as in Ronaldo (Brazilian) level but the application is still lacking. A bad day for him, he looked disinterested, petulant, and apparently collapsed in the toilets after being taken off and was rushed to hospital groggily. I just hope we have Balo long enough to see his potential fulfilled if he ever gets the chip off his shoulder.
