Four CCL matches, right? Or did the group stage format change again?

Aside point... you're gonna have to group with a Mexican or an American side. Just pray you're in San Jose's group, because only one team will advance.

I'm surprised that there are no riots in Vancouver last night.

Right, I saw 6 matchdays and assumed 6 matches. Lots of reporters are doing the same. Can't wait till Monday

I just really want to see my team face a Mexican side. Preferably in the knockout rounds, but if it be in the group stages, well, that could be a thing too.

Can't happen - the rules explicitly keep US and Mexican clubs separate in the group stage.

It does arguably provide unfair protection for US teams; the smaller clubs, though, are now guaranteed two games against a US or Mexican opponent (and a good opportunity for players to try and spark interest in MLS, or the Mexican and US lower divisions) instead of getting knocked out by a Trini team in the preliminary round and calling it a day.

Lots of traffic on Twitter about that guy. He was spewing some pretty strong abuse leading up to the game, obviously a very proud and strong caps supporter.

Must have been tough, I actually didn't even notice, had no idea of the backstory. I salute him for that.
