    this has got to be a joke. these are the best names the geniuses at the lfp could think of???? The first reminds me trezeGOL, the last of that damned roi soleil. Not to mention the translations. They're awful.

    Ohhh no. They'll probably give a new name (ie a copyright) to every single trivia thing in french soccer. What's next ?

    they should have named it after a person... la trophée (insert name of next french football great to kick the bucket) :D

    Now that would have been a good idea. Is it just me or does it seem like 99% of french stadiums are named after someone. It would have followed a trend.

    Well the Coupe de France is known as Coupe Charles Simon ;)

    If it was my resort I wouldn't name the future OL Land stadium "Ticket Restaurant Arena" but something like "Stade Jean Mazier" from the creator of Lyon Olympique in 1933 or "Stade Albert-Trillat"; doctor Trillat was one of the main managers of the newly created Olympique Lyonnais in 1950.

    But since I vote MoDem I could accept an agreement: "Albert Trillat-Danone Arena". :D
