http://www.mlsnet.com/main.jsp Vote up to 10 times a day. Im going to try and get 10 in as often as possible. It takes about 2 minutes to vote 10 times so it isnt a big hassle. I just voted for the 11 Toronto players in there. Should we push for a specific player? Or just try and make the MLS XI all Toronto players? lol
Vote as many TFC as possible. I just voted for Dichio, Brennan, Goldthwaite and O'Brien. DeRosario and Onstad got my first vote, too! Vote TFC, but be real about it, too!
You do realize fan votes are only 25% of the total? And that RSL fans did the same thing last year and ended up with nothing for their troubles?
Not telling you not to - just giving you a heads up that the success rate is pretty low b/c no one can stuff a ballot box like RSL fans. Hell, look at how many GOTW winners came from RSL - which is even more impressive since I think there were a few weeks they didn't even score a goal but got GOTW
No - however, the new contract with the players union requires MLS to name a second MLS All-star team even if they are playing another team (such as Celtic) and pay All-Star bonuses to those players. So - a Toronto FC player could be named an "All-Star" and get the roster bonus but not even suit up for the "All-Star Game" - clear as mud now?
FYI - if my calculation is right - five teams were not represented last year: NE Chivas NY RSL CBS NE and Chivas played the following day and the other three teams just sucked.
