It appears that a league/team decision on Gazza is close at hand, but let's hear what the fans have to say. It seems to me that initial reactions on BS were extremely negative but have tended to be more positive of late. Let's see what our highly precise poll will say....

    I can't vote.

I really don't know why. This has been the case for the past month or so.

So put me down as a YES.

Bring him on. Honestly, at this point, what do we have to lose.

Sadly, that's right. Two weeks ago, I was saying no. After Saturday's performsnce, I say yes. I know he's not a forward, but perhaps we'd have to drop Lassiter.

I'm in the WTF camp. Maybe some new blood with real passion for the game is just what we need. Either way it'll probably put some butts in the seats and give us some great post game quotes from Ray and Gazza. C'mon Senor Gazza, show us what you got! :)

Frankly speaking, at this point, any player whose confidence is still intact could help. Bring him on.

Me neither, Jose. I think it's a conspiracy. Are you getting that "invalid session" crap too?

Put me down for a yes as well.

This is interesting...I think if this had been done political pollster style a couple of weeks ago, the responses would have been more negative. I'm going to attribute the swing to:
    1) He arrived in far better shape than we'd been led to believe.
    2) He is communicating a passion for the game.
    3) He's bringing world media attention to the team, the likes of which we've never seen before.
    and,
    4) United still can't get it together. Zippy offense. Another playmaker couldn't hurt.

    Gazza or no ?

We don't need a washed up over the hill player that in my opinion will do nothing for the team but cause trouble . The MLS would be much better off buying a young player from central or south america. The MLS has spent too much money on washed up players . Remember Matthaeus and Hernandez ?

Yeah, but we're stuck with Roy for at least the short term. :)

Remember Stoichkov. That's the flip side of the Lothar, Hernandez coin.

Put me down for a Yes vote. I mean, Ray put Eddie in to try to give us some kinda offence last match. United needs a fire under it's ass and maybe Gazza is the answer.

If he's cheap (Lassiter or Namoff price cheap), he's worth it just for the publicity and entertainment value.

The team really can't get much worse on the field.

According to SoccerTimes, he'd get paid league max salary. That moves me into the NO column.

If that is accurate then I am also against the move. Too much money in the cap, no matter how good he plays. Any salary below $100K is worth it.

Not that I think Ray will say no now, after all this dancing, but I voted no, for all the reasons everyone already knows about.
