The Smithsonian's National Museum of American History has just opened up on-line voting for which of eight cars currently in storage to bring out for a limited public display at the Museum in Washington, DC. It's called "Race to the Museum", and the cars they're offering up from the 59 they have hidden away are:

    • The Long Steam Tricycle, c. 1880
    • The Balzer Automobile, 1894
    • The Oldsmobile curved-dash Runabout, 1903
    • Harry Miller's 1929 race car
    • A Tucker Sedan, 1948
    • A Glasspar sports car, 1953
    • The GM Sunraycer solar car, 1987
    • An EV1 electric car, 1997

Here's the link. Vote if you're interested. The top two vote-getters will be displayed from January 22nd until February 21st, 2011.
