I think we need to get some former Fusion or Mutiny fans voting in there... Our guys keep getting whipped. (its like 15% Alecko to 61% for Carrieri) We can't possibly let a guy with a nickname like "the mouth from the south" win.
Let's be realistic here folks. Carrieri may be arrogant and selfish- but that goal was an absolute cracker and is easily the goal of the week.
1. Look, Carrieri's goal was better. You can't really dispute that. Look at how he tracked the pass. One of the best goals of the year. 2. If you guys keep stuffing the ballot box, the Powers That Be are gonna get smart and stop putting DC goals up for the honors. No way Dema should have won last week.
Ballot box stuffing is an internet tradition. There have been several times this year when one of the other teams did it, and a crap goal got goal of the week. I agree that Carrieri's goal was fantastic.
Re: still early I'm sorry but my mom could be ready for the MLS all-star game, it's not exactly the hieght of competition. Rookie of the year? Probably not. Eskys good but my rookie vote would got to Ricardo Clark. Was it a great goal? Heck yeah! I hope he gets two more goals next week.

#4 International Goal Of Week Dispute. I'll take the Q1-to-Esky goal for Tino's heel job. So classy, it was the #4 rated World Goal of the Week. Granted, it's in a world that has Canada as its hub, but Fox Sports Report does a Top 10 Goals of the Week feature that includes the European and South American leagues. Eskandarian's was #4, and Ronaldo had goal #3. I think #1 was from Argentina. FSW showed Esky's goal repeatedly on Tue. night and Wed. morning. Ballot-stuffers should feel no guilt.
Kinda seems like old-times, watching Presthus get caught alone in front of that goal watching a ball go by... One important difference though!!
