Two sides to this coin. IT would be nice to have a second tier team (Not one of the holy trinity) win the Superliga. To have a team defeat those three once in a while is good for futebol Portugueseand for the Futeballing nation as a whole. However it would make the Superliga the laughingstock of European Futebol. That a promoted side could win the whole thing it's first year of promotion. The superpowers of Futebol would consider the superliga a joke.
With Derlei's form this year being the way it is (extremely poor), I'll personally shoot Scolari if he calls him up. p.s. To protect myself from any future litigation over my comments, please note that I am just kidding.
Unfortunately, Setubal won't be in 1st for too long. This team will do what it can to ensure that they will be playing in the SuperLiga next season. Jorginho may be lost in January, and even Couceiro may go onto greener pastures (FCP, SCP?).
Next week Vitória Setúbal get a draw in the Luz and FC Porto wins to Sporting, to put us in the right place
