    Who can tell me something about him..

    He played at Newcastle am i Right?

    + someone can help me to search transferfree players for Vitesse :p i want to link them with Vitesse .. Maybe it helps

    How are the finances in Vitesse this season?

    I guess the fact that you want transfer free players, there is no money.

    Not very good they can only fill the selection with players without any club..
    the Salary of the players who leaved the club are going to fill the new players...

    Leaved Vitesse ...
    Bert Konterman
    Paulo Rink old International germany
    They had a big salary

    but i don't like the free players with a NL nationality..
    They are not good Enough soo..

    I was thinking about Laurent Leroy.. i think he is a good player but expensive :(

    Gary Caldwell has 8 international caps(and one goal). Started his career at Newcastle, under Ruud Gullit I believe, and has had two loan spells at SPL side Hibernian.

    You might remember him from being ripped apart by David Trezeguet in 2002.

    His brother Steven also played for Newcastle, but now plays for Sunderland. I've always regarded Gary a lot better, it shows the state of Scottish football that one of our good defenders has to play for a medicore Dutch side.

    Still, it's not as bad as our most technically gifted player(Charlie Millier) moving to a Danish club side.

    Whats up with all the scots going moving to the dutch league anyway.
    I just read Jamie Smith signed a contract with ADO Den-Haag.
    Not exactly the strongest team in the dutch national league either.

    Then again, being born in Den-haag i can't exactly mind his decission to join the squad either ;-)

    I saw that and was wondering why it was happening.

    Nice to have you on board ArenaKing. Are you an Ajax or Den Haag Supporter?

    Thank you, this looks like one fine soccer forum :)
    I'm an ajax fan, but ive always kept a close eye on Den Haag for the simple fact that i was born there i guess.

    Besides, this never was a big problem since Den Haag used to play in the Eerste Divisie league and not the Eredivisie.. so both squads never met.

    However, since they now both play in the Eredivisie i have to choose sides and without a doubt i'll be supporting ajax everytime they meet.

    By the way, im quite pleased with ADO's new players, they added a cpl of class players. Not top-class of course but its amazing how many pretty good players signed up with such a humble budget.
    Now let's just hope they'll have a better season this year :)
