Hello all: I'm an American who'll be in London the weekend of 27th September. I've gotten a local colleague to pick up a pair of tickets for Fulham v West Ham. Any recommendations for lodging in the Hammersmith & Fulham area, as well as the best pub to visit for a few hours before the match?

    Many thanks :)

hope you enjoy the game. fulham's a nice ground to visit and there's a pub over the river ,on the putney side, almost opposite the ground. i think it's the george, very traditional.
are you in the neutral section? cause that will probally be mostly west ham.

Hello another American here thinking of paying you a visit this Saturday. How difficult will it be to get a ticket on matchday? Impossible? will it sell out?

    Thanks in advance.

For a London Derby? Probably difficult. The tickets are on General Sale right now, so it might be a good idea to buy them now.

i stand corrected, could be the first year that section isn't full of West Ham.many are avoiding this fixture (myself included) due to the £49 tickets. three years ago it was £28! but enjoy the game and let us know if you enjoyed it.
