Since people seem to disagree on everything on this board, I just thought I'd post this. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhxU-YRi3Nw"]YouTube - Victor Obinna Kicks Sebastian Larsson In the Balls (Red Card) - Carling Cup 2011[/ame] Does anyone say this is NOT violent conduct?
Here is a longer version: [ame]http://rutube.ru/tracks/3973559.html?v=2e19ed781cb75b621def42cb2a30dcef[/ame] Here is the still. The ball is not playable by either Obinna or Larsson as it is thrown over their heads. As it floats over, Obinna backheels Larsson in the groin.
yes, vc. problem is how would a referee crew ever spot such a thing? it's very quick, and everyone is watching where the ball will land.
That is the most amazing thing for the stupidity factor alone. Why? If I;m WHU, I'm not going to pay him for the three games he misses.
My only thought is maybe he was trying to stick his foot up behind him to possibly make contact with the ball on his heel as it went over his head and didn't know the defender was there?
RichM....I thought the same thing, and then I searched the story out on the internet and that is NOT mentioned in any game story or followup, so it becomes clear he did it on purpose.
