I hoping to transfer all my vinyl to digital (MP3 or whatever). Does anybody have preferred software or applications for this. Any special D-A/A-D conversion hardware they prefer. Any hints/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
This is a good resource. I've used this method and it works. http://www.pcabusers.net/vinyllp/vinyllp.htm I don't care as much about pops and clicks so I don't use the .wav editor very much. I use the .wav recorder and CD burning software (Easy CD Creator) that came with my computer. I did buy another amplifier though. Once everything is said and done, the vinyl recordings come out OK on my hard drive.
MusicMatch Jukebox Plus (costs $20) works great for any Line-in/Mic-in recording. After recording I recommend using DFX plug-in (sound enhancement) during playback which makes the file sound even better than the original one. www.musicmatch.com
