This is Vincenzo Bernardo's new thread for updates on his second season with serie A's S.S.C Napoli's reserve team. He's a link to his last season thread. hopefully this year we can have yanks abroad there. and maybe a video or some pictures.
no he is not calciorosa007. im here and i appreciate this new thread on bernardo. i know alot of people appreciated my posts and i recieved alot of messages saying not to stop posting, but i am getting married this sept. so i will be busy aswell. but i will keep people updated on his season this year. if anyone is in italy and has the oppurtunity to see a game they should deffinitly come and see, and post up what they think.
I am one of bernardo's old friends from new jersey. I am a fan of vinny now that he's doing his thing in italy with Napoli. i asked him for some pictures of him playing and he sent me a couple. I then searched him on the internet and found this site. i wanted to post some pictures up of vinny so i created an account on here. im wondering if its possible to put them up and how can i? can someone please message me and let me know how to..
I don't think BS hosts pictures. You have to upload them elsewhere on the internet (villagephoto.com is a good spot, free) and then you use the "image" tag here and post the URL for the photo.
Why use the URL tag for the photo, as opposed to the "insert link" tag? I mean, does the "insert image" tag not actually insert the image directly into the post? What's the point? I've never actually tried this.
Nope-- hit that tag and it asks you for a URL. Too much serverspace occupied by graphic files, would overwhelm the BS servers if they were hosted here. Instead, you host them elsewhere and just link them here. I've attached a few pics below-- "quote" this post and you'll see the URL links. Photo for Freddy Threads: Photo for my Scrapbook : (PS - I left off the "s" in "villagephotos" in my post above. I'm not pimping that site (since I've got no stake in it), I just note that you can get free accounts there if you don't intend to use it that much.) Cheers.
most italian youth teams have 2 reserve teams. Berretti and Primavera. this year it seems like the primavera consists of older players between the ages 20-17 and the berretti consist of most of last years allievi nazionale players (1990's) thats where bernardo would probably play. in the Berretti nazionale i think.
hey everyone, so yeah i cant figure out how to upload the pictures. its ok, i guess you guys have to wait a little till some new ones come out from napoli.
Bernardo plays for the Berretti Nazionale team for Napoli. Here is an article of the new coach. seems like they have high expectations for this Berretti team. http://www.ssnapolicalcio.com/articoli/27-agosto_07/juary_allenatore_beretti.php
Some teams only have a Berretti team. and some teams have only a primavera. but basically Berretti is like a younger version of primavera. it conisit of the allievi nazionale kids and some older kids that are on the primavera.
A few Serie A clubs even have a third team that's below Berretti and Primavera..... [youtube]e06Sn4aaDeQ[/youtube] It's called "il Tuffo"
Hello everyone. Now that im happily married and all the planning is over, i have more time to follow up on the soccer that is going on here in italy. I know that Bernardo is playing in the Berretti Nazionale this year and his coach is the ex-professional former inter, porto, and avellino stricker Juary. The season starts this saturday and Napoli plays away against Celano. Bernardo is most likely in the 18 and a probable starter. There is word going around that Bernardo is doing well in the pre season and now that the season starts this saturday hopefully everything goes well. I'll keep everyone updated. ps. as for pictures of bernardo...i think someone should take some. I wont be able to attend many of the beginning season matches so it would be nice if someone in the area could take a few and post them up.
