We're usually decent to good for a half but yes for the most part we look lost out there and that's incredible considering that the team's core has been together for years.

The fact that Villareal was going all out despite having the draw says a lot, they were saying that a 1-1 draw vs us isn't good enough. we have a lot of reflecting to do, very good first half though.
Was a fun match if we weren’t so poor after the subs. Without getting too negative I’ll just say I enjoyed Varane, Nacho, Dani, Kroos and Modric and their efforts. Mariano for his goal. Some neat passing from us, shame we didn’t have our full squad to keep the level up later on.
Better yet don't pass at all. He's looking for players that didn't get in a single good position. That last play should have been sidestep and shot. A pass was not the move there.
I had hope that we can win back to back La Liga titles,but it is not happening. This team is so weak,there is a severe lack of quality.Out attack is the worst amongs the big clubs in Europe,the defense has been exposed this season and the other teams are just not as bad as last season. This will be a long season and hopedully we can get top 4.I cant hope for more,such a poor team....so many new WORLD CLASS players are needed. The attack continues to be disheartening, but a point at La Cerámica without 3 essential starters is probably a decent result. Casemiro and Militao should be available for our next game. Hopefully Benz gets healthy too

Considering all the missing players. Not a bad result. Kroos was our best player. Varane also had a good game. First half energy made the team looked like they all took a few lines before the game. As much as it was chaotic football, the first half was a refreshing view to the snooze fast with our regular starters.
In the end a lucky point, but same old same old, we lack offensive quality,no matter who plays, other than our goal i can't think of any clearcut shots on goal for the whole 90 + mins, continues to be strange to see a Madrid like that to me Seeing subs like Isco and Marco come on nowadays does not fill me with any confidence that they will boost or really contribute to the team in any way and that in itself is disheartening
