After a disappointing loss to fall out of the Copa del Ray, Villarreal must rebound against Mallorca. Defender Cygan is out, which means Gonzalo will be starting with Godin. It hurts our depth, but I think putting a back line with Javi Venta/Angel, Gonzalo, Godin and Capdevila, with Diego Lopez in the back, will be an incredible defense. It will be interesting to see how Eguren fits in the midfield. Nihat should be fully rested, and Pires, Cazorla, Bruno and Rossi only put in half a match on Thursday, so they should be in good shape. The three points are absolutely necessary to hold off Atletico.
