Game just started in El Madrigal. No score after 5 minutes... Anyone know how to get Cadena Ser via internet radio?
Malaga holds on to win 1-0 and takes an away goal with them back to Malaga. Should be an interesting second leg, but my team is one step away from the UEFA!!!! Mas cronica luego....
Have you tried their website? http://www.cadenaser.es/PaginasASP/home_ser.asp They have their own broadcasting utility so there is no plug-in needed (that I know of).
I tried it but all I got was news, they must not have been broadcasting the game. No big deal. Do they do La Liga matches during the year? I always enjoyed listening to El Larguero when I lived in Spain.
They do La Liga matches every Sat and Sunday. I am not a big fan of Cadena Ser for the simple reason that they concetrate on Madrid. However, Onda Cero is the same. I don't know if they will do UEFA Cup matches but I'm pretty sure Cadena Ser will do the CL matches.
Second Leg of the Intertoto Final. In the 15th minute, it's still knotted at 0-0. Villarreal had a defender clear a Malaga goal off of the line, but from the commentary on Marca.es and As.com, it sounds like the game is pretty equal, with equal chances for both teams... More to come...
1/2 an hour in and nothing has changed. From the commentary on as.com, Malaga is dominating this segment of the game, leaving Villarreal to send long balls to Palermo and Aranda.
Que susto me dio el as.com. Without any explanation or commentary, they placed a goal for Villarreal on the scoreboard. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLL! del Malaga!!! From a corner, Miguel Angel vollies the ball, which deflects off of Roteta and past Reina in the Villarreal net!! 1-0 to Malaga, 2-0 on aggregate!!!
End of the first half, Malaga continues to lead 1-0. Palermo had a good chance at the end of the first half, but Contreras continues to play well and saves his header with ease. With only 45 minutes left, Malaga looks as though they will be the 8th Spanish representative in Europe this fall!!! (knock on wood, with two goals Villarreal could beat Malaga out for the spot)
65 minutes in and Villarreal has just made it a little more interesting with a goal by Aranda. Malaga must hold on now, or score. A Villarreal goal puts them through to the UEFA Cup and leaves Malaga holding a glass slipper....
Post #400... 80th minute, Malaga and Villarreal still tied at 1-1. Malaga holds the advantage 2-1 on aggregate. All good Malaguistas are biting their nails with 10 minutes + injury time to go...
85th minute... Miguel Angel just had an opportunity to secure the win for Malaga, but missed inside the box. Still 5+ remain...
Huge brawl in the 95th minute... Josemi, Palermo and Aranda have all received red cards... Interesting so late in the match... Looks like Malaga may hold on!!!
GAME, SET, MATCH!!! Malaga a la UEFA!!!!!! For the first time in their history as a club, Malaga will be participating in European competition!!!
