I haven't been able to see either of the goals so clearly, but was Partey kinda caught snoozing on both of them? Edit: And as he kicks the ball straight into touch, I'm left thinking that he's had an awful 1T. Maybe he needs to be yanked at HT?
It says a lot about the pitiful state of AFC that I find myself more invested in seeing United lose today than in seeing Arsenal win...
When the system looks this bad, I can't help but wonder what Arteta thought this was going to look like if everything went well. Like, the starting XI made me go ???. I don't know how anyone on the coaching staff looked at that plan and went "yep, this is it, lads."
Just saw the highlights and I'd say Partey was a bit casual on the first goal too. Hindsight it 20/20 but he could've closed down the shooter more quickly and aggressively.
1 or 2 unanswered goals by us in 2T is the minimum of what we need. I wouldn't count on it, but COME ON!!!!
ESR has also had a poor/ineffectual performance so far. Pepe has probably been our most dangerous/determined/lively player.
Who would've thought that a kid playing in his first European semifinal, asked to play a position he has never played as a professional, might have a rough game?
Entirely on Arteta. We know Ceballos is a moronic hot-head. You cannot keep him on the field. So stupid. For the third or fourth time this season, I'll repeat: Dani Ceballos should never ********ing ever play for Arsenal again.
To add: I don't care what, if anything, Arteta said to him about being careful at halftime. The second that Ceballos made that challenge at the start of the second half, he has to come off. Immediately, no questions asked. It shows that he doesn't understand the stakes.
"To be honest I like La Liga a lot more. The Premier League is more complete but with my style, La Liga is much better for me. https://www.goal.com/en-us/amp/news...nding-arsenal-loan/1b8tr89o53o6l1v6nlf03mgx6i Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
