Makes absolutely 0 senses to use Real Madrid's best striker in a #10 role.... I'd rather see James as a #10 while Benzema continues focusing on goals. Otherwise, I want to see a 4-3-3 formation with Bale-Benzema-Vazquez up-front. Yeah, I know people here are hating on Lucas but he's the only decent RW.

Should be an ideal combination. Benzema can drift all he wants and we'll still have a target man. Even if he decides to start James, that would be ideal having an attacking threat coming from midfield. If we are not to win, I would love it to be a situation I can't moan about the lineup.
Modric at RW is just dumb. And benching Vinicius when Hazard is unavailable and immediately coming off a bad performance is also not helpful. To do both those things simultaneously is just bad squad management. And can't blame injuries because there's still no reason to play anyone out of position.
