The Battery are on FSC this Friday and we have a couple choices of places to watch the match.

Madra Rua will be showing the match as usual

    www.madraruapub.com

and the Battery have an official sponsor for the away FSC match at
    Daniel Island Grille on DI

I havent been to DIG but it looks nice on the website
    http://danielislandgrille.com/index.php

they also supposably have a big sceen projection they will be showing the match on.

I do love the Red Fox, but D.I.G. is so much closer to the house. Hmmmmm....

I think I might try out D.I.G. for this one. mainly due to the big screen. But I might head down to the Rua at HT but we'll see.

I've been to DIG several times, good place (I left one of the little cardboard Battery displays with the pocket schedules with them). Several different beers on tap and a pretty good menu of food. They have a covered outdoor patio & bar that's different than most places, a good casual place to watch traffic go by & always a good breeze. I've never sat indoors but I guess that's where the big screen is. There's also a TV in the outdoor bar. FYI, you can park on the street right next to the place if there's room but there's also a regular parking lot in the back, it's not very noticeable from the street.

Like Anthony Bourdain says....all food and beverages taste better outdoors and since I mostly wear flip flops in the summer, I kick them puppies right off and I might as well be at the beach. (But yes, the pond next to the bar is very convenient for....well, never mind.....)

Looks like a number of us are going to try out DIG tonight then head to the Madra Rua.

Hope some of you brave the monsoon to make it out there!

By the way Fat Tire is now available in South Carolina. Highly recommend this beer
