I hope you like it... It's a basic player evaluation to this point in the season... Flame away.... http://www.unitedmania.net/umindex.cfm?page=ARTICLE&show=2484
Nice job Chris. I do have to take a bit of issue with the "Finally" about Esky's two goals. I mean he had only played about 300 minutes before Saturday and took the big hit from Bobby in his first game that may have set him back some.
Nice job Chris. I hope you didn't take my "Unofficial Poop" on Milton Reyes as Gospel. I got that little tidbit of info from some Honduran fans that know him personally. August is what HE wants, not necessarily what's going to happen. Although it should would be nice to see him run up and down the flanks with that trademark speed of his.
Great article. Great analysis of the players to date. Keep up the great work. With regard to Rimando, you are absolutely right. However, I would like to see Warren get a game in MLS (for the experience), just in case Rimando gets injured.
about Alecko- Right now, i think we should keep him as a super sub. let him get a few more, then give him a start and see how his confidence is.
The "finally" was more a comment on the overall lack of scoring from the forwards, any forwards, not Esky in particular...
Unsurprisingly, I agree with pretty much everything Chris said. I'd hope he's wrong about Carroll not seeing any significant minutes, but that seems to be the case. Unless Chino or Namoff go down injured during this month, I wonder if we'll see Carroll anywhere outside Open Cup matches.
