No body posted this news yet. Two Vietnamese U-23 footballers have been arrested and sent to jail for their involvement in match-fixing in the 23rd SEA Games. Pham Van Quyen, Vietnam’s 2003 Golden Ball winner, and teammate Quoc Vuong were held by the police after investigations connected them both to rigging and gambling. But I can't find the reference URL of that news for you. The news said the Vietnamese footballers ont only fixed the SEA Game final with Thailand. Also semi final with Malaysia which they won 2-1 and one more match in the group stage with Myanmar which they beat 1-0. The jail term for these two players just for 4 months only. (I tried to find the sources in VFF abd other Vietnamese web sites. But there were no english.)
