There should be a number of clubs interested. Aston Villa, and maybe even Chelsea. I'm curious as to the exact reasoning - if Vieri was likely to move on anyway, at least Inter could have made some money off a move.
Villa can't afford him and Chelsea won't touch him. There are serious talks that he is going to Tottenham, they can afford him and need him. I believe Vieiri says he must start at a club if he is to have any chance of competing for the Italian National side.
I read a quote from Souness that Newcastle tried but apparently Vieri wants to play in Spain where he had enormous sucess. Atletico just signed Kezman so maybe another side...
I really hope Vieri does sign for us but i doubt he will, we probably arn't big enough for him and he wants to go and play in spain, his record in seria A is world class and even though he's a bit of a prat i'd still take in in a instance.
