There should be a number of clubs interested. Aston Villa, and maybe even Chelsea.

I'm curious as to the exact reasoning - if Vieri was likely to move on anyway, at least Inter could have made some money off a move.

Villa can't afford him and Chelsea won't touch him. There are serious talks that he is going to Tottenham, they can afford him and need him.

I believe Vieiri says he must start at a club if he is to have any chance of competing for the Italian National side.

Apparently Totthenam are favourites and want him the most.

I read a quote from Souness that Newcastle tried but apparently Vieri wants to play in Spain where he had enormous sucess. Atletico just signed Kezman so maybe another side...

So has anyone heard anything solid on Inter's reasoning for the move yet?

I really hope Vieri does sign for us but i doubt he will, we probably arn't big enough for him and he wants to go and play in spain, his record in seria A is world class and even though he's a bit of a prat i'd still take in in a instance.

Well, i guess you may think taking your words back now. I don't think you want Vieri to have good luck with Milan.
