PV4 is reported to say that upon return from summer vacation that he is "happy" to sign a 4 or 5 year contract at Arsenal, providing that it is "right". (Whatever that means!!??). He has ruled out any move to Man. Ure. suggesting that should he leave Highbury it will be to go abroad. Does "right" mean as much money as he wants, or equal to that what Real Madrid might offer, or anyone of a similar vein, or does "right" mean, "that's okay" and "I'll continue to lead the Gunners on to victory"? Let's hope it's the latter.
Yeah I was reading this reports and was wondering what "right" meant also. Lets hope its now something crazy.
Probably a bit of both-Vieira is very proud and has been hurt by remarks from Mr. Hill-Wood-he wants good money-but I'm also guessing Mr. Hill-Wood to step up and apologize for his remarks. I'd also guess that Pires(and maybe Wiltord) being re-signed will figure in this. Vieira is adamant we cannot sell top players and contend in Europe-and he's right most likely. That's what I think is up now. It shouldn't be too hard to please him then if we don't get stupid. He should be here to stay...
