Eh. I think Salah is right to speak up. He's on the way out already so it's not like he has a conflict of interest. They spent a ton of money, let all their guys go, and the end product is far far worse. And he's the bad guy? RVP is hated across the board now sure, but he was sure as hell right as rain.
Indeed. Salah complaining publicly about Slot, when both he and Slot are in incredibly public and visible roles, is totally natural and also a complete nothingburger.
Not by me! He was correct to leave and right about the failings of Wenger Why should he waste his last chance of glory on a broke arse, yesterday's man
Seeing claims that the City players found out about Pep's departure the same way the rest of us did after being told he was staying
The RVP situation was a little different: part of the reason Arsenal didn't win was because of his injuries in 07/08 and 09/10, both of which were on international duty, with the latter being in a pointless friendly.
I believe it was their owner has said Kroupi is not going anywhere. Everyone has a price, but this one just keeps getting more expensive
Tend to agree. If they qualify for CL, it may make more sense for him to stick around another year. I'd bet he stays unless ManU or Chelsea throw a huge salary at him.
Was the 3-2 win at Bournemouth in January Arsenal's most impressive win of the season outside of Europe?
IMO the loss to Bournemouth was a better performance than the win against them. Sometimes crazy stuff happens.
Iraola's going to get a Manager's job as a decent European club with more resources than Bournemouth. Honestly shocked that Chelsea didn't go after him but I reckon that he wants to challenge himself in a different league.
If this result holds, and Bournemouth make champions league, I think MOTS could come down to Arteta versus Iraola… 2 Basque mates.
I'm curious if he has a handshake deal to go to Bilbao? Spent most of his career there and the current manager has an under 50% win percentage.
Think he is mentally checked out..... Almost 30yo, 1 yr left on his deal, Pep leaving, linked to Real for over a yr.
