It's a weird one because on paper it's a great job. Pays well, in London which is a lure for some people, they have got a lot of really good young talent on the books, but upper management is a mess, the best players could be sold at the drop of a hat and BlueCos strategy is buying and selling players for profit not winning games.

Alonzo should do a year of punditry on TV and wait on the Liverpool job to open.

Como are on the cusp of Europa football next year. Fabregas was my favorite player at one time.

French league ends the time off for PSG should be a big advantage. Some of us who follow American football have seen teams who qualify for playoffs 2 or 3 games to go often end up looking off pace when post season starts.

Hoping Gyokeres in form continues obviously so we have a double threat in the final. Would love to see him score in either of the next 2 games if not both.

Who starts in the CL final, Zubi or MLS? My guess is MLSs audition continues and how he plays the next two games determines who Arteta goes with.

Please, please Arteta sub Rice off if we are up by two goals.

PS: Rule changes I'd like to see in football
    1. A subbed off player can re-enter the game.
    2. Formalize the tradition of giving back the ball when its kicked out by the opposition player for injuries.
    3. Stricter time anti time wasting rules.

Okay someone explain to my how Mbeumo can control the ball with him arm which leads to a Cunha goal and it isn't ruled out by VAR or the on-field ref review.

Because handball is the rule that most badly needs reform/simplification? As currently administered It’s atrocious.

In unrelated events, I once tried local LLMs using LM Studio and the ChatGPT open source model was completely incapable of assessing current events.

As much as I'd love to say that Chelsea will take it to the final day, I don't think they can win a 15-minute passage of play let alone a game.

Just tuned in and caught up with goals/action at NUFC-WHUFC. Noted:
    • Taty Castellano scored a GOTS candidate (in a losing effort)
    • After every NUFC goal they showed pictures of Mavropanos. Bad day at the office for him apparently.
    • Willock Seems to have had a good game. Always liked him. And like him even more as he got into a shouting match with his captain, telling him to f-off. That’s one little glimpse into why I’ve never wanted the likes of Bruno G on my team… even his teammates think he’s a prick.

Sp*rs could still do another Sp*rs and get relegated if they lose their last 2 matches against Chel$ea and Everton and WHU wins their last match at home against Leeds.

Any Spuds draw would likely see them avoid relegation as they lead by 2 points and have far better goal difference. I doubt even they could screw this up, but there’s a reason we celebrate St TOT’s day with lasagne.

Chris Richards rolled his ankle pretty badly today. That’s not good news for USMNT maybe, but could be a bit of good luck for our final day of the league season.

I never liked Salah much as a human. And I've liked him less and less in the past year with his intentional public comments directed at Slot.

I really don’t think I’m qualified to judge a person as a human being based on what they do on television and what they tweet.

There are obviously exceptions (orange ones, even), but a dude complaining about his job on social media is the most normal thing ever.

Be real good if Bournemouth could do us a solid and just not lose so that the Palace game and the constant badgering of their manager and the "will they\wont they rotate" narrative nonsense disappears.

100%. If Bournemouth can manage atleast a draw then the last week means nothing to us.

He wasn’t “complaining about his job”. He was publicly going after Slot, his boss, while walking out the door. That’s cheap. I don’t care for people who throw others under the bus in public media, and he’s made a habit of it. He has been and still is a supremely talented footballer, but as a human, he lost my respect.
