Reality at this point..... we have 2 more games against a team that is 100% being relegated and a team that will likely phone it in against us to focus on the Europa Conf League they have 3 days after us. If we win those 2 games we are 100% champions. If we can't win those games, maybe we don't deserve to be champions.

Villa may need those points on the last day of the season.

LOL they told me that Jude Beillani aka Marouane Belllingham was going to be the answer. That Bellingham/Rice pairing this summer is going to be interesting.

I'm a Kansas City Chiefs fan and everyone says the only reason we are good and have won 3 Super Bowls is because the refs are in our pocket and the NFL is rigged to our advantage.

Which of course it is. The NFL recognizes that helping the 30th largest TV market is where the real money is made.

Getting all the calls in your favor is awesome, 10/10, highly recommend. Much better than the first 30+ years of my life as a Chiefs fan where we won 4 playoff games total. Other teams are dumb, just have your star tight end date/marry the world's biggest pop star, it's easy, everyone should try it.

I'm just sad that the Chiefs offense has sucked for two years now.

And also sad that it looks like Sperz are now safe. Oh well.

Apparently they can't draft/sign quality WRs worth a damn. They're either too young/raw or past their sell by date.

Well, you sort of knew once West Ham lost they could take advantage

Tel just kicked a Leeds player in the head in the box, that has to be a penalty whether it was intentional or not.

Edit: Correctly given by VAR, 1-1

Rashee Rice is pretty good but barely played due to an ACL injury when Mahomes ran into his knee and a suspension due to him racing a rented Lamborghini through Dallas and then fleeing the scene after he wrecked it.

13 minutes? Never seen an NBA quarter+ of stoppage time before.

It's startin to seem like Big Soccer Old Timers Month around this place!

We got @Senor Askew popping up here, @thebigman poppin into the transfer thread.

Pretty soon we might just pull in the likes of @HomeatHighbury, @GunnerJacket, @charlie15. Shit even @pookspur might grace us with his presence.

Sadly though BS seems to have lost @BIGHMW, @antifan, @GunneRy, @goonermaui, @JeffL, @Romfordray, @luvgunners, @RedAgave, @BiggSkizz and so many more, whose avatars seem long gone (or at least dormant), in the years since our last trip to UCL Final.

And even more sadly, the likes of @KevinJRogers, @Lanesra (plus others I'm not remembering!) were cut short of being able to experience this exciting month for all Gooners.

    <end of overly nostalgic digression> :p

I did a double take when you wrote "Tel". I couldn't remember a player by that name and my mind kept going to Terry Venables, who IIRC coached Spuds way back when and whose nickname was "El Tel". Sorry to bore you with how my old brain is working these days. :p

So they spurzed it up a bit today it sounds like. The race for positions #1 & #18 may just go down to the very last day. Broadcasters will be happy.

Based on the current table, you have to think Spuds have the tougher run-in with both their remaining opponents trying to win European spots. WHU's opponents have nothing to play for, other than pride.

Spurs only picked up a point today, so they are only two points up on West Ham with Chelsea and Everton still on their schedule, they aren’t safe yet.

Imagine West Ham fans had Spurs got that 105th minute penalty from VAR...

Hull City one step closer to the Prem today. Beat Millwall in playoff semi. On a terrific brilliant solo goal by a kid named Belloumi.

Honestly I have mixed feelings about the Den not being an away venue for us next season.

PSG played the bench last weekend. Their league is already sewn up. They are gonna be well rested which should work in their favor, but as we know in the NFL and the NBA if you rest players too long before the post season, they are often a bit out of step. Too much rest can be a problem.

We are obviously on the cusp of another golden era. I would term the last 5 years a resurgence. I wouldn't be inclined to say the beginning of a golden era when there are no trophies.
But I think we will be an annual dominant force for the next 3-5 years at least. No matter what happens this season. I can see us being in the final of the CL at least 2 more times in the next half a dozen years. The grind of the EPL is the tough part. We can be 1st or 2nd in the CL league while we are fresh.
