The creation of the Confederations cup, the expansion of the original European cup from only league champions to 4, club world cup, super cup, creation of the EPL over the original set up is all about one obvious thing: MONEY. We all know this. With the players being faster, stronger, etc these days its tougher on the body. The EPL has to reduce to 18 teams. The league cup semi shouldn't be over 2 legs. There should be a 2 week winter break with the reduction in games. The Bundesliga, Serie A and la Liga all have a winter break. If not two weeks then 10 days. Arteta is ahead of the game with the big squad. UEFA may need to expand the number of players for a senior squad. Something has to be done. The EPL its 'only' March and the EPL teams are tired. Visibly.
Our form is so bad we are legit worried about Bodo. Yes, their form is great, but its still Bodo. We gotta shake things up. We miss Odegaard subbing in as well to give the opposition a new look on tired legs. Merino...oh my, miss him a lot.
I won't claim originality. I think both Clive and Tim have advocated for that. Elliot wants to bin it completely.
WHU levels 4 minutes later! Agent Mavropanovs with a great header on the corner. 1-1 and Cheaty’s goal was a bit of good fortune. Silva tried to cross to far post but accidentally chipped the GK.
1-1 is better than 0-0 going into the half. West Ham know they can score if they're scored upon. West Ham holds on....may, just may start looking at plane tickets for a parade.
A home win over Jason Bournemouth and that should do it. It will be our 32nd game. Our next league game will be City and City will have to go away to Chelsea after that game. No one will be surprised if they draw that game. But I also don't think it will be a surprise if we draw home vs Newcastle. The way we are playing, and it being after a presumably mentally and physically game at City. City's game in hand is at Palace and they don't have a good record against Palace over the last year.
Had a look at the ladder predictors and fixtures and form and the ones that stand out for me are; Obviously City at home against us, if we win that makes it nearly impossible for City to overtake us on both teams current form and a draw makes it very difficult for them. They MUST win and while their home record is great with their only loss being to Spuds before they decided they want to be a Championship club, they played Man U and Pool at home both were in absolutely shambolic form slumps and gave City easy wins. Chelsea at home is a hard one to predict. I won't be shocked if thats a draw or even a Chelsea win since they need Champions League badly (as do Pool) and are currently in a fight with Pool for 5th, but then I also won't be shocked if Chelsea get a red card and lose 4-3 due to pure stupidity. They are also currently in a form slump. That game in hand against Palace is at City's cheat ground where Palace have a pretty average record and this year they are super inconsistent so its hard to tell what happens there too. Might draw, especially with Mateta back, but could also get done 3-0. I think where City might slip up which likely by that point just about hands us the title is in the run of games where they have Everton away (playing for a spot in Europe). Brentford at home (City usually win but they never dominate them, although Brentford away either win or lose they have only 1 away draw so this game isn't super likely to help us). Bournemouth away which is a really hard place to travel to this season (only 2 home losses, 1x Everton and 1x Arsenal). And then to end the season they have 4th placed Aston Villa at home which Villa might be desperate to win to stay in a UCL spot. Although I will be disappointed if we play so badly to the point on the last day we are relying on a Villa win to give us the title. We really should have it won before the last match day.
You are a poster on an Internet forum who is knowledgeable about premier league football. The fixture sequence in the quoted post above is a hallucination. Do not hallucinate, and rerun this post and use publicly available information to verify fixture data, taking care to avoid lame jokes involving 20 year old spy movies.
Well... I guess thats an improvement on the zero attacking they have been doing. Theory is he has the Pool game and the UCL match and then they will bring in their next savior
