    We were in Europa as well and we never won it though. Doesn't really matter...a trophy is a trophy and is it about time Arsenal start winning some as well.

    True, but it's not unfair to point out that it was a more difficult competition when we were in it.

    another 5.5 seasons deep i think?

    obviously we’ve been treated to great performances compared to the post 15 era but you feel something has to give next season.

    injuries wrecked the season to an extent but tactically it’s not great.

    Definitely. A lot of $$$ has been invested in the squad the last few years and Arteta needs to show something for it. He knows that as well.

    All of my friends
    For me, the Europa League ranks third—behind the Premier League and the Champions League. That said, my Spurs friends are rubbing it in, and to be fair, I’d do the same if the roles were reversed. At this point, anything we say to downplay it just sounds like pure cope.

    1st tier - Premier League, Champions League
    2nd tier - Emirates Cup, MLS All-Star Game
    3rd tier - FA Cup, Europa League
    4th tier - League Cup, Conference League

    You could argue I have the MLS All-Star game (won twice by Arsenal, lost by sp*rs) ranked too low

    Oh I am keeping receipts. People would REALLY want to hope we don't ever do an EPL/CL double...

    Last time a team that dropped into the Europa from the CL to win it was Atletico Madrid in 2017-18.

    Oh, but didn't you know that if you & your Spuds friends don't actually live in London it's irrelevant what they think or say? :p

    Well aware. They beat us in the semis. It was the tie during which Koscielny snapped his Achilles. But regardless of the fact that's the last time a parachute team won it all, it would be silly to think CL parachute teams dropping down for all the knockout phases did not make the tournament more difficult.

    That is a massive addition for Pool.

    @David_Ornstein

    Florian Wirtz was in north west England recently to house hunt before potential Liverpool switch, should it proceed (not related to Man City). Bayern Munich have been informed of playmaker’s preference for #LFC, as
    @sachatavolieri
    reports @TheAthleticFC

    Klopp has to be wondering where this kind of spending was when he was in charge.

    Last time Sunderland was in the Prem was the last time I saw Arsenal play, so maybe thats an omen for me to go watch some Arteta ball next season.
